Product overview

A 20ft used shipping container — also called a 20-foot conex box, conex container, or cargo container — is a pre-owned steel storage unit you own outright, and the most cost-effective way to add secure, weatherproof storage that lasts for decades. It is our most popular size: roomy enough for a small home's worth of belongings, a vehicle, or a full job-site of tools, yet compact enough for most driveways and lots.

Is a used container still reliable? Yes. Our used units are structurally sound and sealed against rain and pests, with years of service left. Built from corrosion-resistant Corten steel with a marine-grade plywood floor and lockable cargo doors, a used conex protects your gear just as well as a new one.

What should I expect? Honest cosmetic character — minor dents, scuffs, and surface rust from years in shipping. None of it affects performance. Ideal for on-site tool and equipment storage, farm and ranch supplies, garage overflow, retail backstock, jobsite security, or a custom build.

Delivery options

We offer two types of trucks for container delivery:

Tilt-Bed Truck
Ideal for easy offloading without equipment.
Requirements: 65 ft of straight clearance, 12 ft width, and 16 ft vertical clearance.

Flatbed Truck
Best if you have on-site equipment (like a forklift) for unloading.
Requirements: 65 ft of straight clearance, 12 ft width, 14 ft vertical clearance, and side access for unloading.
You will need a forklift rated for at least 10,000 lbs to remove the container.

Site Preparation
Before scheduling delivery, please ensure:

• Clear, unobstructed access for the truck.
• No overhead obstacles like trees, power lines, or structures.
• Dry, solid ground conditions. (Notify us if the ground is wet or muddy.)

Containers can be placed directly onto flat, solid surfaces — no foundation required.

Delivery Timing
Delivery is typically completed within 1–3 business days after your container is ready for dispatch.

Container warranty

The 20ft Used Standard Shipping Container comes with a 5-year limited warranty. This warranty covers structural integrity, protection against corrosion, and maintenance of wind and watertight conditions under normal operating use.

Coverage Includes

• Structural frame, walls, roof, and doors
• Weather resistance (wind and watertight seals)
• Weld integrity on the main container structure

Warranty Exclusions

Normal cosmetic wear and tear, such as surface rust, scratches, dents, and paint fading, are not covered. Damage caused by misuse, improper lifting, modification, accidents, or environmental extremes is excluded from warranty coverage. Optional lockbox security upgrades are covered separately if installed.
