A 20ft new hard top shipping container — also called a 20-foot hard-top conex box or cargo container — is a factory-fresh steel unit for sale with a removable steel roof for overhead loading of tall or heavy cargo. The hard top design gives crane and forklift access from above while preserving ISO-certified structural integrity for export or ground storage.
What is a hard top container? Unlike soft-top open units, the steel hard top panels lift off for vertical loading then reseal the container for wind- and water-tight protection. Built from Corten weathering steel with marine-grade plywood flooring and lockable cargo doors, new one-trip units arrive pristine with a 10-year structural warranty.
Ideal for construction materials, machinery, oversized equipment, industrial staging, and export cargo that cannot pass through standard doors. The compact 20ft footprint fits tighter job sites while still allowing top-loaded freight handling.
Best when no unloading equipment is available. The driver backs into position, tilts the trailer, and slides the container directly onto the ground.
Best when a forklift or crane is available on-site. The container must be lifted off the trailer using a forklift rated for at least 15,000 lb or an appropriate crane. Conexwest can help coordinate additional placement equipment when needed.

This warranty covers structural integrity, protection against corrosion, and maintenance of wind and watertight conditions under normal operating use.

Warranty Exclusions
Normal cosmetic wear and tear, such as surface rust, scratches, dents, and paint fading, are not covered.
Damage caused by misuse, improper lifting, modification, accidents, or environmental extremes is excluded from warranty coverage.
Optional lockbox security upgrades are covered separately if installed.
