Limited Warranty Coverage
The Conexwest Limited Warranty applies to new and used ISO shipping containers purchased directly from Conexwest. During the applicable Warranty Period, Conexwest will, at its option, repair using new or refurbished parts, or replace Units or components at no charge, provided the defect results from defective materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
This Limited Warranty includes a leakproof guarantee, subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions set forth herein.
Warranty Coverage Period
New ISO Shipping Containers:
10 years from the date of purchase. Leakproof guarantee included.
Used Cargo Worthy ISO Shipping Containers:
5 years from the date of purchase. Leakproof guarantee included.
Any repaired or replaced Unit or component will be covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or five (5) years from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.
Refrigerated Container (Reefer) Warranty
New Refrigerated Containers:
- 3-Phase ISO Factory Machinery: 5-year manufacturer warranty
- Single-Phase (Converted / Modified) Machinery: 1-year warranty
- Refrigerated Container Shell: 10 years
Used / Refurbished Refrigerated Containers:
- 3-Phase ISO Machinery: 6 months
- Single-Phase (Converted / Modified) Machinery: 6 months
- Refrigerated Container Shell: 5 years
All manufacturer warranties are subject to original OEM terms and conditions. Conexwest does not extend or modify OEM warranties. Customer is responsible for verifying electrical compatibility prior to operation. Damage caused by improper voltage, wiring, phase imbalance, generator misuse, or lack of maintenance is not covered.
Custom Modifications Coverage
All custom modifications performed by Conexwest — including electrical, HVAC, structural, and specialty upgrades — are covered by a one (1) year warranty from the date of completion. This warranty applies only to workmanship and materials provided by Conexwest.
What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Conditions not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship
- Malfunctions not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship
- Damage not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship
- Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage or surface corrosion
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications
- Loss or damage to contents stored in the Unit
Customer Responsibilities
To obtain warranty service, you must:
- Notify Conexwest promptly upon discovery of any issue
- Provide proof of purchase and details of the defect
- Allow reasonable access for inspection and repair
