The 40ft High Cube Open Side Shipping Container with Center Post offers the same side-access functionality as a full open-side unit but retains a structural center post in the middle of the side opening for added strength and security.
Ideal for customers needing flexible side access for partial loading, displays, or sectioned storage, this container includes bi-fold side doors split into two sections and standard rear double cargo doors. Built from Corten steel and equipped with marine-grade flooring, it’s designed for long-term durability and weather resistance in demanding environments.
This new (one-trip) unit arrives in near-pristine condition with minimal transport wear and is ISO-certified for intermodal and ground-based applications.
Delivery options
We offer two types of trucks for container delivery:
Tilt-Bed Truck (recommended if no unloading equipment is available):
The truck will back into position, tilt the bed, and slide the container off onto the ground.
Requirements: 125 ft of straight clearance, 12 ft width, and 16 ft vertical clearance.
Flatbed Truck (if you have a forklift or crane on-site):
A forklift (minimum 15,000 lb capacity) or crane is required to unload the container.
Requirements: 125 ft of straight clearance, 12 ft width, and 14 ft vertical clearance.
Site Preparation
Before scheduling delivery, please ensure:
- Clear, unobstructed access for the delivery truck
- No overhead obstacles such as trees, utility lines, or structures
- Dry, solid ground conditions (notify us if the ground is soft, wet, or muddy)
Containers are placed directly onto flat, level surfaces. No foundation is required for ground storage.
Delivery Timing
Delivery is typically completed within 1–3 business days after your container is ready for dispatch.
