A 40ft new high cube open side 4-doors shipping container — also called a 40-foot open side conex box or cargo container — is a factory-fresh steel storage unit for sale with four full-length side doors plus standard rear cargo doors for maximum accessibility. The high cube profile adds an extra foot of interior height for bulky items, racking, and high-turnover inventory you own outright.
What is an open side container? Four sets of double cargo doors along one side swing open for instant access to any section — no unloading everything to reach items in the back. Built from corrosion-resistant Corten steel in one-trip condition with marine-grade plywood flooring, reinforced cargo doors, and a factory-installed lockbox for added security.
Perfect for construction site storage, mobile retail, warehouse overflow, farming operations, and logistics where ease of access, ISO certification, and secure multi-point entry matter most.
Best when no unloading equipment is available. The driver backs into position, tilts the trailer, and slides the container directly onto the ground.
Best when a forklift or crane is available on-site. The container must be lifted off the trailer using a forklift rated for at least 15,000 lb or an appropriate crane. Conexwest can help coordinate additional placement equipment when needed.
