A single-phase 20ft refurbished refrigerated container low temp — also called a 20-foot refrigerated container or reefer — is a cost-effective subfreezing storage unit for sale that pairs a restored cargo-worthy steel shell with a brand-new commercial refrigeration system. You get low-temperature performance on standard 220V single-phase power without the premium of an all-new container.

What is a refurbished low-temp reefer? The container shell is fully inspected and refurbished to cargo-worthy standards, then fitted with a new refrigeration system that holds internal temperatures between -20°F and +14°F. It runs on 220V single-phase power, so installation stays flexible at sites without three-phase service, backed by a 5-year structural warranty.

Perfect for frozen food distribution, pharmaceutical cold chain, seafood storage, catering operations, and industrial freezing where dependable subfreezing capacity matters more than a pristine exterior.

We offer two types of delivery for 20FT containers, depending on your site setup and offloading needs:

• Tilt-Bed Delivery (Standard) – The container arrives on a tilt-bed truck and is lowered directly to the ground. No additional equipment is needed on site.
• Flatbed Delivery – The container is delivered on a flatbed trailer and requires customer-provided equipment (such as a forklift or crane) to offload.

Tilt-bed delivery is the standard method for delivering 20FT containers. To ensure a successful and hassle-free drop-off, please review the clearance and site requirements below.

Space Requirements

• Straight Shot Clearance: 65 FT of straight, unobstructed space
• Width Clearance: Minimum 12 FT for gates, driveways, or access paths
• Overhead Clearance: 16 FT for standard height containers, 14 FT for Flat-bed delivery ONLY

Site Preparation

• Surface must be firm, level, and dry
• Avoid soft ground, mud, or steep slopes
• Ensure the path is clear of overhanging branches, wires, or other obstructions

Container Warranty
The container shell is covered by a 5-year limited warranty against structural defects and corrosion under normal operating conditions.

Refrigeration Machinery Warranty
The brand-new refrigeration system is backed by a 1-year factory warranty covering major components such as the compressor, condenser coil, evaporator coil, and electronic controller.

Warranty Details
Routine maintenance, consumable parts, and damage due to misuse, external causes, or lack of maintenance are not covered.
Refrigeration machinery warranty service is available through the manufacturer’s authorized service network.
Optional extended warranty plans are available upon request.
