Standard portable cold storage is about −40°F to 70°F. Single-phase units on this catalog are −20°F to +50°F. SuperFreezer units go as low as −94°F (−70°C) in 10 ft and 20 ft, and about −85°F (−65°C) in 40 ft.

Typical setpoints: meat and beer 34–40°F; frozen foods 0°F and below; flowers 32–36°F; produce 34–40°F.

• Single-phase: 220 V, 1 Ph, 30–50 Amp (Emerson / Trenton machinery; 20 ft and 40 ft).
• Three-phase: 208–230 V or 460–480 V (Thermo King, Carrier, Daikin).
• Solar-plus-battery setups exist for off-grid sites.

Confirm voltage and phase at the pad before you order. Damage from wrong voltage, phase imbalance, or generator misuse is excluded from warranty. See Warranty terms.

10 ft, 20 ft, and 40 ft. This catalog also has wide double-door and side-and-end-door 20 ft reefers, blast freezers, SuperFreezer, and an insulated (non-powered) 40 ft.

• Insulated — foam-insulated shell, no refrigeration machinery. Holds temperature longer than a dry box; it does not actively cool.
• Refrigerated (reefer) — insulated shell plus a refrigeration unit that holds a setpoint.
• Blast freezer — pulls product down fast. 1 ton from 70°F to 32°F in about 46 minutes (meat), 55 minutes (fish), 64 minutes (berries); can reach −40°C.
• SuperFreezer — ultra-low (to −94°F) for vaccines, biotech, and similar, with redundant cooling and remote monitoring.

A transport-style reefer is built to maintain an already-cold cargo, not to pull a warm load down to setpoint. Use a blast freezer when you need rapid pull-down. Pre-cool product before loading a standard reefer.

Three-phase: Thermo King, Carrier, Daikin. Single-phase: Emerson, Trenton. Depending on configuration, units are described as ISO, BIC, AWS, FDA, NSF, HACCP, CE, and UL. NSF-approved materials are called out for food.

Warranty is split between shell and machinery:

• New 3-phase ISO factory machinery: 5 years (manufacturer).
• New single-phase (converted) machinery: 1 year.
• New reefer shell: 10 years.
• Used or refurbished machinery (3-phase or 1-phase): 6 months.
• Used or refurbished reefer shell: 5 years.

Yes on SuperFreezer and on units specified with remote monitoring: real-time alerts, remote access, and temperature logging. Ask sales whether the SKU you want includes it or if it is an add-on. Remote monitoring hardware is also on Parts.

Same ground-delivery network as dry containers, typically 3–5 business days. Confirm that the site has the correct power ready — the unit will not hold temperature without it. On-site maintenance is offered; ask sales to include it in the quote.
