Custom Container Fan Center
Soccer Loco wanted to create a dedicated fan center where players, families, and supporters could gather between games, shop for team merchandise, and personalize jerseys during tournament weekends.
The project needed to feel like one complete destination rather than four separate containers. It also required a wide, welcoming entrance, space for retail and customization, and a covered layout designed around the flow of a busy soccer complex.
Client’s Request
The project required a custom fan center capable of:
• Supporting busy tournament-weekend traffic
• Creating space for merchandise and jersey customization
• Providing a large, welcoming entrance
• Connecting four containers into one cohesive structure
• Fitting within the available site footprint
• Improving the fan experience between games
The final structure needed to feel open, recognizable, and purpose-built rather than like four separate industrial units.
The Conexwest Solution
Conexwest combined four 40ft high cube shipping containers into a mirrored fan-center layout designed around visitor flow and retail operations.
The custom entrance used two approximately 15ft sliding barn doors to create an opening of about 30 feet. Because a standard sliding system would not fit within the available container length, Conexwest repositioned the wheel assemblies and counterbalanced the doors.
The rear portion of the layout supported merchandise display and jersey customization, while a container canopy connected the full arrangement and helped the separate units function as one destination.
The finished build included:
• Containers: Four 40ft high cube shipping containers
• Configuration: Mirrored multi-container fan-center layout
• Main entrance: Approximately 30ft-wide opening
• Sliding doors: Two approximately 15ft custom barn doors
• Door modifications: Counterbalanced panels and repositioned wheel assemblies
• Interior use: Merchandise display and jersey customization areas
• Exterior structure: Container canopy connecting the full layout
• Installation: On-site container assembly and setup
