With their vision in mind, we designed a fully customized 20ft High Cube unit that would serve as the pilot for their nationwide network of remote charging stations. From interior insulation to a tailored electrical system and branded exterior, this container was built to keep their electric fleet powered efficiently and reliably in the field.
For this project, we completed a wide range of custom modifications to meet the client’s needs.
We began with a 20ft High Cube container, the ideal choice for its additional vertical space and flexibility for advanced electrical integration.

Inside, we equipped the unit with:
- A full interior finish using polystyrene insulated sandwich panels for durability and temperature stability
- A comprehensive electrical package custom-built to support high-demand charging for their electric equipment
Outside, we modified the container with:
- Upgraded cargo doors designed for ease of access and an automatic closing mechanism
- Exterior enhancements tailored to improve daily workflow and long-term usability
To make the container stand out, we used our in-house expertise to match the client’s exact RAL color, resulting in a clean, bright orange exterior. We also added the company logo on both sides to create a polished, professional look that aligns with their nationwide branding.
Engineering, Delivery & Deployment

From an engineering standpoint, this project moved smoothly thanks to the customer supplying fully pre-engineered plans. With the structural and electrical requirements already defined, our team was able to transition directly into fabrication and customization without additional design work. This helped accelerate the timeline and ensured every modification aligned precisely with their specifications.
Permitting for this build was straightforward as well. No permits were required from Conexwest, which kept the process efficient and allowed us to focus entirely on construction, finishing, and preparing the unit for deployment.
Delivery and setup were equally simple. The container required no on-site assembly or adjustments, so once fabrication was complete, our team coordinated transport and handled placement at the client’s designated location. The charging station was delivered ready to operate, allowing the customer to put it into immediate use without any delays or additional installation steps.
