The idea behind the Atlantic City Container Park goes beyond finding another use for shipping containers.

Each time part of the original corrugated sidewall is removed, the structure needs to be reinforced appropriately.
Engineered header and jamb framing is added around major openings to help maintain the structural integrity of the container after modification.
Depending on the individual unit, the shipping container modifications can include:
